FAQ

Is your studio a safe space?

I share an all inclusive studio with my tattoo artist colleagues. Everyone of every size, shape, gender, ethnicity, orientation is welcome.

We have a zero tolerance policy for homophobia, transphobia, racism, fat phobia, or any discrimination of any kind.

We offer a “chosen name/pronouns” on our consent forms to make everyone as comfortable as possible.

My piercing table has a 600 pound weight capacity.

Please refer to my Required Identification page for the age requirements and identification needed to get a piercing.

How old do I have to be to get a piercing?

You have to be 16 or 17 with parental consent for any body piercing other than ear lobes, surface piercings, and nipple/genital piercings.

For ear lobes you have to be at least 10 years old with parental consent.

For surface piercings and nipple/genital piercings you have to be 18 years or older.

Can my brother/sister/grandma/etc sign for me if I am underage?

Only a parent or legal guardian can sign for you to get a piercing. For parents, you both have to have valid ID’s as well as a birth certificate for child. For legal guardians, you would need to bring in the documentation that states such, as well as both of your ID’s and birth certificate for child.

What if I don’t have an ID?

Unfortunately I cannot legally pierce you if you do not have photo identification proving your age.

I can accept a drivers license, drivers permit, state ID card, a school ID (if your birthday is on it), or a birth certificate PAIRED WITH a school ID.

What do you recommend for aftercare?

Specific aftercare varies from piercing to piercing; but for the most part you want to be cleaning your piercing once or twice a day with warm water or a sterile saline solution.

How much is a piercing?

All piercings are priced with a procedure fee then the cost of jewelry. The procedure fee is what covers the cost of sterilization, disinfectant, skin prep, and tools or equipment used. Jewelry prices vary (see below). All pricing is given before the actual piercing procedure so you will be aware of the cost before you agree to the piercing.

How much is jewelry?

Jewelry cost is dependent on the piercing you’re getting, your unique anatomy as well as what style/design jewelry you are wanting. Keep in mind, all of the jewelry I use is implant grade: meaning it is biocompatible and safe to be in the body forever. Similar to the materials used in medical implants (i.e. hip replacements, bone screws, etc). All of my jewelry also comes with a lifetime warranty, so it is guaranteed to last for life.

Here is a rough estimate on jewelry prices PER PIECE:

$25 - $50 : Basic implant grade titanium rings/labrets/curves/etc…

$45 - $55 : Implant grade titanium with ONE Swarovski crystal or synthetic opal.

$75 - $100 : Implant grade titanium with TWO Swarovski crystals or synthetic opals.

$95 - $200+ : Implant grade titanium labret with a 14kt or 18kt gold end.

$70 - $400+ : Solid 14kt or 18kt gold hoops or ends with genuine stones.

Can I bring my own jewelry?

No, I cannot use jewelry from outside the studio. Because I don’t know where it came from or what material it is made of, I could be held liable if you were to have an adverse reaction to it.

If it is a piece of jewelry you previously purchased from me or another reputable studio, I can assess it and see if it can be used again.
